About Us
AssistedLivingTalk.com was developed in late 2008 after a family member of mine moved into an assisted living facility. I did some research on the internet and was shocked by how hard it was to find information about specific assisted living facilities. I was particularly put off by the hordes of referral sites pretending to offer you advice by selling your lead to the highest bidder. The move out of one’s home and into a more structured environment is tough for everyone involved. Families facing this decision need information and help from others. I’m hoping this site can fill that need.
Meanwhile, providers of care have an important and tough job. Many of them do a very good job caring for our family members as they age. This site aims to help facilities connect with potential residents. We offer web development services to help providers better communicate the services they offer and the needs they can help fill.
